Auch so ein spannender Aspekt, wenn man sich seinen Campervan selbst ausbaut. Man stößt ständig an seine Grenzen, betritt Neuland, muss über seinen Schatten springen. Das ist so cool, sich immer wieder in Themen einzuarbeiten, von denen man bislang noch nicht wirklich viel wusste. Permanentes Lernen – das kann ich euch sagen! Gerade ist es bei mir mal wieder besonders interessant: Ich befasse mich nämlich mit meiner künftigen Bordstromversorgung. Da ich ja nicht nur einen Kühlschrank betreiben, ein paar Lampen anschalten und mein Handy laden möchte, sondern auf meiner Weltreise unterwegs auch Filme schneiden will, werde ich vermutlich eine ganze Menge an Strom benötigen. Batterien, Ladegeräte, Solarmodule, Lichtmaschine – wie bekomme ich das alles zusammen? Ein schlauer Plan muss her!
Another exciting aspect, when you decide to build your campervan on your own. You are constantly pushing your limits, you are breaking new ground, you have to surpass yourself. It’s so cool to work on topics that you haven’t really known before. An amazing way of permanent learning – I can tell you! Right now I am working on my future on-board power supply. Since I do not only plan to operate a refrigerator, turn on a few lights and recharge my phone, but also want to edit films on my trip around the world, I will probably need a lot of electricity. Batteries, chargers, solar modules, alternator – how do I get it all together? I really need a clever plan!
